Taunton Vale Polo Club was founded in 1911 by the Officers of the Regimental Depot of the Somerset Light Infantry, together with other enthusiasts. Thus making this club the second oldest Polo ground in England.

Facilities: Teas and a members bar are available on most Saturdays & Sundays and match days. An excellent view of the game can be had from cars or chairs from both sides of number 1 ground. Ponies are available for hire by arrangement with the Polo Manager.
The season closed with an exciting final being won by half a goal by the Light Bobs.
